The proof verification for spot colors from GMG OpenColor now works exactly the same way as for CMYK. You can either use the target values from the GMG OpenColor proof profile or define a custom target in form of a GMG ProofControl Print Standard XML in the proof standard.
Using this feature requires a GMG ProofControl Inline license, a printer with an integrated ILS30 measuring device, and GMG OpenColor with Proofing option. The feature is limited to GMG OpenColor profiles and proof standards. The GMG OpenColor proof profile needs to include CMYK. The report functionality is not yet available for multicolor control strips.
Please follow the links for more information:
This feature requires GMG OpenColor 2.4.2 or higher. Please follow the link for more information on this version: https://gmgcolor.com/support/help/opencolor/opencolor-whats-new/2-4.htm

You want to use stricter tolerances? You can create a custom print standard from an MXN profile in GMG ColorProof and then edit the tolerances in GMG ProofControl.
You want to use custom target values? You can create a custom print standard either from an official print standard or from an MXN profile and then edit the target values (and tolerances) in GMG ProofControl.

Create FLOWS between multiple ColorProof systems and track all remote jobs via the browser, using intuitive date, state, or full text filtering that enable you to quickly identify issues:
All flows are listed with key information and even include first accounting possibilities, such as: How many jobs have been sent per flow? How much proof media did that cost?
Curious? FLOW comes as a new extension of GMG ColorProof GO. If you have a GMG software update contract, you can test and use the beta version for free. Under the following link you find detailed guidance on FLOW and how you can use it: Remote Proofing with GMG ColorProof GO
You will, however, need to get in touch with us to activate your systems for the cloud or to set up a test system. You can test our new remote proofing just for yourself or actively participate in the beta phase. Whatever fits you best, drop us a line under ux@gmgcolor.com or contact our Support Team to reach us. In return, we’ll closely accompany you in the testing, share insights, and build a great proofing experience!
