Printing process control at a click of the mouse

With GMG RapidCheck the printer knows whether his press is operating within a defined standard. Based on one single measuring procedure, the software supplies all the relevant information concerning the print job in question. This is useful for almost every print house, but also for print buyers like publishers or ad agencies, as one can quickly determine whether prints comply with the required quality standard.

The software supports the international standards ISO 12647-2 and 12647-3 as well as the NPDC (= Near Neutral Print Density Curve) calibration method and individual in-house standards. 


The following parameters are analyzed at a glance:

  • printing density and print contrast
  • tone value increase and spread
  • primary and secondary colors
  • gray balance
  • ink acceptance
  • paper
  • slur and doubling


In the event of deviations, the printer can immediately make corrections on the press with
GMG PrintControl.
