The new GMG ColorServer Version 4.5 for an even more automated Color Management Workflow ...

With the new option to specify additional profile rules for pdf and pixel hotfolders, your color management workflow will be automated even more. With the "Additional Profile Rules" list, you can automatically apply multiple MX4 profiles at the same time, according to the embedded ICC profiles. This leads to a higher degree of automation while taking the color characteristics of different input images into consideration.

... and Softproofing of RGB Images before Separation in GMG ColorServer
The new feature "Gamut Mapping Preview" allows for softproofing RGB data that needs to be converted by GMG ColorServer. You can export and calculate ICC profiles from the MX4 separation profiles that can be used to simulate the final result on the printing machine including a paper tint simulation. By softproofing RGB images in your image editor (e.g. Adobe Photoshop), you will be able to preview the final result already during the retouching stage.

... as well as for Softproofing of CMYK Images after Separation in GMG ColorServer
By exporting the gamut file as CMYK Output Intent ICC profile, different tasks are performed: e. g. it can be assigned as Output Intent ICC profile to the MX4 profile in the Profile Editor without the need to use or buy a separate ICC profiling tool. It can also be used for softproofing images in an image viewer or editor, for example Adobe Photoshop. This method is different from the "Gamut Mapping Preview" option, because it works directly with the CMYK output files from GMG ColorServer, not with the RGB input files.
