GMG at FESPA in Munich

At FESPA 2010, to be held in Munich from June 22-26, GMG will be presenting software solutions for large-format printing at the exhibition booths of its technology partners HP (Hall B2, 120), Mimaki (Hall B2, 270) and Roland (Hall B2, 340).

The latest software solutions from GMG enable businesses involved in large-format printing to simply and efficiently meet the growing quality demands of their customers. GMG will present the extensive functions of the new GMG SmartProfiler software application, which printers can use to create their own color profiles and printer calibrations for large-format printing systems. This significantly improves not only a company's production reliability and productivity, but also the color quality of the products.

You can get an initial impression of the performance of the GMG solution here.

If you register by June 21, we will send you a free admission ticket for FESPA. A day ticket otherwise costs € 60.00 at the gate.

GMG cooperates with numerous well-known manufacturers

At this year's IPEX, GMG gave an impressive presentation of the collaborative efforts with its partners under the motto "There's a little bit of GMG everywhere". Apart from having its own booth, GMG was also represented on the Canon, Enfocus, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, Mimaki and Roland booths in order to demonstrate the GMG solution in conjunction with the individual partners.

In addition, new partnerships with X-Rite, Sun Chemical and Dalim were announced at the exhibition.

GMG ColorProof update offers proofing of hitherto unknown quality

The award-winning proofing software GMG ColorProof is now available in a new Version 5.1.1. The latest version includes innovative platform technology enabling future implementations of new printers, optimized remote proofing and nesting functions, as well as new calibrations and profiles. This guarantees that users get top-quality contract proofs at all times. The same applies to the GMG DotProof and GMG FlexoProof halftone proofing software, which is particularly suitable for packaging proofing.

Version 5.1.1 offers full integration of the newly supported inkjet proofing systems Epson Stylus Pro WT7900 and Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8300/iPF6350/iPF6300. The Roland VersaUV LEC-330 will additionally be supported in the near future. These systems can be used to produce high-quality mock-ups and packaging proofs using original substrates.

The new version is accessible to users of Version 5.1 free of charge in the Support area of the GMG Web site. A chargeable update is available if you currently use older GMG proofing software. Your authorized GMG dealer will be pleased to help.
